Why choose the panel track? The positives include styles to maximize sunlight with little privacy, the choice to mange solar heat and glare, and styles to maximum privacy. I chose the solar panels to let in the sunlight along the coast.
Another positive is the ability to install the tracks on walls, ceilings, and inside the window or slider frames. I chose the ceiling mount.
An additional advantage is the ability to leave the track up over time and change the panels.
The negative: the difficulty level of installation. If you have a lot of experience with DIY, then these will be a doable in under an hour. If you don't do regular home improvement projects, then this will take more time. Plan ahead or ask someone for assistance.
