Candy Baskets
Candy baskets can be made with your favorite candy, and tailored for a birthday, holiday, or gift. This is a project where many hands make light work. I made these baskets with my sister as a gift for her baby's nurse. My sister has the best gift ideas.
Basic Materials
container/basket
variety of candy
skewers
floral tape
moss
floral foam (dry)
clear dry glue
scissors

Shop Amazon for your scissors, glue, floral tape, and other supplies to make your candy baskets. |
Directions
Wrap skewers in floral tape; wrapping a candy at the top and at various positions on the skewer (make approximately 17 for a small basket).
Glue both ends of floral tape on skewer to stay in place.
Pack container with floral foam and moss.
Stick flower stems (candy skewers) in foam in an organic pattern.
*The center topiary in the pictures above was made with a small foam ball, hot glue, skewer,
and chocolate candy.
