Gretchen Carlson Getting Real
I recently participated in a Question/Answer session with Gretchen Carlson. She answered a variety of questions related to her book, news, politics, and food. I inquired, “Any favorite desserts of all time? Have you discovered any brilliant sweets on all your travels?” I liked her response, “Everything!!!” That is an attitude I can appreciate.
Getting Real is her story and insights into living life, her growth and development as a person, and her career. The book also chronicles serious events in her life, Gretchen’s own situations with health and wellness, and dealing with inappropriate co-workers. Carlson’s attitude and approach to life is an inspiration and example of how to persevere. As she states in her book “You have to...have an inner core, and know who you are to have the confidence to achieve your dreams”.
