Estérel Restaurant's Grand Re-Opening
I recently attended the grand re-opening of the Estérel in Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. The public relations manager and all other staff were friendly, welcoming, and enthused for the event. I enjoyed the tastings of savory appetizers, sweets, and cocktails, such as the basil greyhound.
Estérel’s menu, dining room, and patio, fully sustain the garden theme. The restaurant is designed with an effective open seating plan, greenery, dark wood floors, white linen, and a collection of portraits. The outdoor area, Le Jardin, includes a private bar and is adorned with French herbs, bird cages, mirrors, and a dark blue accent wall. There is a strong, luxurious, connection between the menu and environment.
Executive Chef Victor Boroda has a rich culinary experience from Estérel in the Sofitel, to True Food Kitchen, and Scarpetta in Beverly Hills. The Sofitel Hotel is an elegant venue located on the corner of La Cienega and Beverly Boulevard. The new menu and dining experience at Estérel embraces the locale, integrating French fare with Hollywood style.
“Estérel in Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills takes you on a culinary adventure of innovative flavors and tempting tastes. Reflecting its origins in the South of France, this exciting new French restaurant and lounge offers an inspired contemporary menu featuring seasonal selections infused with fragrant herbes de Provence: saffron, fennel and basil. Savor each artistically prepared meal in an inviting setting where California casual meets French chic.”
