I cooked a Chinese dinner with asparagus and crab salad, with a big cup of steaming wonton soup. The wonton soup is a family recipe with pork, spinach, garlic, scallion, sherry wine, and sesame oil. I was looking for a sweet ending to the meal, why not Ginger Cookies? These cookies are an adaptation of a friend’s recipe, topped with sanding sugar.
